MBE welcomes back Mr. Srinivash Singh, as Managing Director and Board member wef mid-December 2016 to take the company forward to greater heights. Mr. Singh brings in more than four and half decades of experience in successfully managing EPC projects in the country, besides running large manufacturing units. He has under his command a battery of highly specialized engineering & project management personnel and has taken up the challenge to bring back the past glory of MBE, which went into some financial crisis for a period of 3 years.

Mr. Singh took over as senior vice president (projects) in the year 1995, in MBE, when the company wanted to close down its project operations due to continuous loss. Mr. Singh with his quest to revive the division took drastic measures and made a turnaround of the project operations within a year’s time and was elevated to become a Director in the board of the company in the year 2000 & M.D. in the year 2004. The project operation started expanding in turnover and profit continuously under his leadership and crossed Rs 2000 Crores in 2010.

Mr. Srinivash Singh has earned his laurels as an entrepreneur in the EPC universe the hard way. With over forty-five years of hands-on experience in implementation of projects he has developed an uncanny insight into the basic requirements of any project. He inspired the team of Engineers & Technical experts to deliver on time every time. He commented in one of his interviews “In the EPC business the most important thing is to attract and retain talent.” In MBE he initiated training at all levels of the Company throughout the year, often inviting the best trainers from reputed Technical Institutes like IIT, IIM, the Indian School of Mines Dhanbad and various Research Institutes under the Central Government. Moreover, he empanelled reputed scientists, professors and experts to make their skills available to the Company at all times.

He has approximately 41 years of experience. Worked in the field of Design Engineering & Construction Management in Power Plants, Steel Plants, Process Plants, Metro Railway Projects, Residential & Institutional Building Projects. He has worked with various multi-national and professionally managed companies located in India and Jakarta (Indonesia).

Debashis Brahma is qualified human resources professional with a Masters Degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

He has worked in various reputed organizations in the public, private and joint sector. He has served in leadership roles in diverse industry straddling across oil and gas, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, education and airport operations.

He has over 30 years of rich work experience in a wide bandwidth of roles in the Human Resources domain both operational and strategic encompassing Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Performance Management, Compensation Management, Organization Structuring and Industrial Relations.

Mr. Hans-Georg Schnabel who is an M.E. Met. Engineer (Dipl. Ing.) from Technical University of Applied Sciences Cologne joined the MBE group in 2015 as a CEO of the coal and mineral division in Germany. With over 40 years of experience in international product sales, he has been managing a diverse product portfolio for the cement, coal and mineral processing industry.

Prior to joining MBE, during 2005-2015 Mr. Hans-George Schnabel was Vice President of Andritz Separation GmbH. Between 2003 and 2005 he was Managing Director of Oswald Metzen GmbH. From 2000 – 2003 he served as President of Outokumpu Technology GmbH. From 1998-2000 he served as Managing Director in FERROSTAAL AG with regional and global responsibilities.

Mr. Hans-Georg Schnabel gained over 20 years of experience in KHD Group as Head of Sales, Managing Director in South Africa and Member of the Board in Germany.

Mr. Horvarth Karoly completed his study at the Technical University of Budapest and got a Master Degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering in 1976. Since then he has been working in the power plant industry, started at ERŐTERV, design office for power plants. He continued at Waagner-Biro/Wienna, Boiler and power equipment suppliers, and was responsible for Ash handling technologies. In 2000 the Ash handling team as a Hungarian limited Co. had been taken over by McNally Bharat Engineering Ltd. Since then the company was rechristened MBE EWB Ltd. as part of the MBE group. In 2002 Mr. Horvarth Karoly was appointed Managing Director of this subsidiary.

In the last nearly twenty years MBE EWB Ltd. became a well-known supplier for Ash handling technologies with large number of references worldwide. The company is a qualified supplier for big international EPC contractors, among others Samsung EC, SKEC, GAMA, ANDRITZ, SEPCOIII.

Mr. Mustafi after his graduation in Science from Calcutta University completed his 5 years Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Railways Institute of Mech.& Elect Engineering with distinction.

He has an experience of more than 30 years in Marketing & Sales, Business Development, Manufacturing, Project Management & Execution, Operation Management & Corporate Planning having served in Government, Multi National & professionally managed companies in different locations.

Widely experienced in coal & mineral beneficiation technology & having set up in India a number of coal washeries with different processes for both Public & Private Sectors, he is a well-acknowledged figure in this field.

He is a member of the Coal Preparation Society of America & a Life Member of the Coal Preparation Society of India and an active participant in the International Coal Preparation Congresses besides having chaired & presented a number of technical papers on mineral beneficiation in different seminars in India & abroad.

Mr. Aseem Srivastav has completed his Bachelor in Engineering (Production), with distinction from Pune University and subsequently PG diploma in marketing management from Mumbai University. He is a first certified conscious business coach in India from USA and a Fulbright student of Carnegie Bosch institute, Pittsburgh on global leadership. He brings in over 31 years of experience in heading large factories in highly reputed organizations like Vardhman Steels, L&T and Kirloskar Group and has been instrumental in driving change globally in these companies. He has worked in varied roles from Sales engineer to COO / CEO / Managing Director.

He is a TedX speaker, Art of living Happiness & wellness program yoga teacher, Rotary member and also associated with volunteer work at Humanities, USA & Jagrati Yatra, Purvanchal. A passionate traveler, who has visited more than 55-countries establishing Indian brands & getting appropriate technologies for pumps, valves & turbines. He has a keen interest in Sports and lead the Indian Cricket Club, Malaysia..

Mr. Bose graduated in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1976 from Jadavpur Universirty. Did Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering Specialisation in Tribology from Jadavpur Universirty in 1978.

He has approximately 37 years of Industrial experience. He has worked in the field of Design and Engineering in the Thermal Power Plant, Steel Plant, Port Equipment & Cement Plant. He has worked in GRSE for 10 years after completion of Post Graduation and after wards he has worked in BTS & GEC Alstom. Last 22 years he is working in McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd.
