| Since its inception, MBE has constantly endeavoured to assist the local
population around its campus at Kumardhubi. MBE has installed a filtration plant and
supplied filtered water to the entire village around Kumardhubi. MBE also has a
scholarship scheme that provides for students from the surrounding areas to be trained in
various vocations in the neighbouring Industrial Training Institute. Subsequently, MBE
also absorbs suitable candidates into its rolls thereby providing valuable employment in
an otherwise socially backward area. |
