• Quality Assurance Department for Projects Division and Product Division effectively run by qualified and experienced engineers from different disciplines of engineering namely Mechanical, Electrical, Civil And Metallurgical.

• Both the divisions are certified under ISO-9001-2000(Quality Management System).

• A section of QA personnel located at MBE’s Works, Sites and Head Office are trained in non-destructive testing in the field like Ultrasonic Testing, Radiography Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing and Liquid Dye Penetration Testing. These people are qualified under ASNT Level –II/ Level-I in the above mentioned areas.

• Both the division are equipped with non-destructive testing facilities for Radiography Testing, help is taken from the approved and reputed third party testing agencies who are also certified by NABL body.

• The product Division is having a good Testing Laboratory set up for Chemical Analysis as well as Mechanical Testing besides its in-house standard room for instrument calibration required for the measuring instruments.

• The QA personnel of Product Division control the inspection and testing of the raw material/ in-process and final for the products or equipments manufactured at the works.

• Similarly QA personnel in Projects Division located at different Sites and Head Office control the inspection and testing in the areas like Bought out, Civil Works, Site Fabrication, Erection and Commissioning of equipments as per the Quality Plans for Bought out, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical etc.

• In each of the major project sites a Civil Laboratory is installed for stringent quality control.

• Safety is considered as one of the most vital activity and it is implemented and practiced at MBE’s Works, All Sites as well as Head Office. Safety Prizes as received at different sites (NTPC-Ramagundam; GMDC-Akhrimota; RUIDP-Jodhpur; INDAL- Hirakud) from the customers prove our claim.

• Depending upon the situation MBE some time hires the services of globally known third party inspection agencies like Lloyds, Bureau Veritas, Indian Register Of Shipping etc.

• The QA personnel of both the divisions functionally report to QA Head who is stationed at Head Office. The head of QA directly reports to Managing Director.
