| The Company has in-house Built system called CIPMAS
which connects the entire purchasing function from Engineering, Indenting to purchasing to
Finance. However, due to increased activities in consonance with the growth of the
Company. MBE created a Logistic Cell to specifically focus on follow-up of all the
supplies from various vendors. This Logistic Cell has been merged with a new department
called “Supply Chain Management” headed by a Vice President to oversee the
procurement of all the bought-outs and other related activities of the Company. Basically
this department is monitoring the activities starting from ordering to dispatch of the
items to various Project Sites. To effectively follow-up with the vendors, Supply Chain
Management has stationed experienced Engineers at various Industrial hub of the country
such as Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi etc. The head of Supply Chain Management looks
after the progress of manufacturing besides the pre-manufacturing activities of the
vendors through these Engineers and also directly inter-acting with the Vendors. |
